The Supream Court of Nigeria as done it again as it uphold the election of Arch. Ishaku as Governor of Taraba State.
The Supreme Court has thrown out an appeal filed against the election of Governor Darius Ishaku of Taraba State by Hajia Aisha Al-Hassan, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in last year’s election in the State.
While dismissing the appeal for lack of merit, the apex court on Thursday afternoon affirmed the election of Arch. Ishaku as Governor.Meanwhile, the court has fixed February 22, 2016 as date when it would adduce reasons that informed the judgment.
